Twat Boutique

Twat boutique is at the heart of the Dalston scene, gracing our evenings on the first Thursday of the month at Dalston Superstore. It's a very trendy venue that attracts the east London scene, more specifically what I call the "dalston crowd", more on that in another post. Back to Twat. Theirs two floors, downstairs being home to the dancefloor, upstairs more of a socialising area and one things for sure you'll always find plenty of HOT girls here. #Hot_Girl_Magnet. Maybe it's in the name...I mean the "boutique" part, not the "twat" part. That's just insulting. The music is banging, it's an eclectic mix of new wave, electro, mutant disco and the whatever else takes the dj's fancy!

They've had quite a few guests including Gutterslut boys, The Horrors, Passion Pit, Har Mar Superstar, Elastica, Hannah Holland, Don't Wait Animate, Shitdisco, Anna Calvi, Gay for Disco!, La Roux and I expect theres more to come :)

If you are planning on taking along straight mates, be warned, there is quite a strict door policy and you might be turned away. Best thing is to try get on the guestlist and have a plan B just in case. I think it really sucks, but it is what it is, so this is a warning to you!

"promoting non-normative standards of disco since 2002" Unskinny Bop website.

Unskinny Bops been based at the star of bethnal green since it's beginnings 7 years ago and celebrates it's last party there on july 16th. Afterwards it will be moving to bethnal greens working mens club! It will be on every third friday of the month, the launch being on friday 19th August so I'm going to make sure I get down there for both dates!

Your Mums House claims to be "London's biggest mid-week mash up!" After partying at your mums house it definitely lives up to it's reputation of being a free-for-all PARTY! With the hottest Dj's mixing up a mix of electro/dub/old school/garage and all sorts into the mix it's definitely THE hangout for hipsters/students and scene queens alike who want to be seen in a polysexual open environment.
