Candy Bar Girls - Real Life, Real Girls, No Cliches - Erm yea SURE!

Episode 1- A break up - A fight - Pole dancing - Girls passed out. Oh yeah channel 5, definitely no CLICHES here!
There was a moderate build up to this show, for most it was the U.K's answer to America's the Real L word. The ad campaign had a few complaints leading up to the launch as it showed strong sexual innuendo before the watershed hours. Personally I can understand where people are coming from BUT
at the same time there are plenty of "straight" ad's fuelled by innuendo, this is the world we live in now. Sex sells. Fact. Live with it or shut your pie hole :P
When i sat down to watch the show, i did not know what to expect. I hadn't really thought about it too much, but the slogan "real lesbian, no cliches, blabla" did make me think, ok so this show is going to be packed full of cliches! (reverse physchology) BUUUT as the first ad break came I didn't want to change the channel. So far so good, it drew me in. The sort of "main" girl, Danni the aspiring model/dancer was pretty captivating and personable, although i did feel sorry for her girlfriend. That breakup was HARSH (I'm using capitals with bold here damnit!), simply because it was so shrugged off...poor danni's girlfriend :( Shabby and Red's thing made me laugh out loud, that dramatic argument they had appeared to be pretty intense...for a couple as shabby puts "still in our honeymoon faze". Hmm...honeymoon OR honeyBOOM!!* :P

*(I do not endorse violence, but seriously, no seriously, we all enjoy watching a fight? don't leave me dry on this people...erm...hello?)
Without making any sneaky peaks at the internet, the most memorable people from the first episode are shabby (obviously), Danni, Red and the drunk blonde chick. Danni's one to watch but from the sneak clip of next weeks show, it looks like it's pretty action packed.
